This project is the result of close inter-institutional and international collaboration – two research institutes of Ilia State University – Child Development Institute (www.cdi.iliauni.edu.ge) and Institute of Linguistic Studies (http://iliauni.edu.ge/en/iliauni/institutebi-451/lingvistur-kvlevata-centri-467) and two foreign advisors and experts - Sigal Uziel-Karl (Achva Academic College, Israel) and Rachel Yifat (University of Haifa, Israel) worked jointly on the project. Sigal Uziel-Karl Haifa University CHILDESis an expert in research methodology – corpus building, coding and analysis with CHILDES (https://childes.talkbank.org/); CHILDES expert with over 25 years of experience. She has used CHILDES in her research, taught numerous CHILDES courses, developed CHILDES tools for the analysis of Hebrew and Arabics. She was responsible for preparing a large longitudinal Hebrew corpus for contribution to the CHILDES database, and constructed and managed the SEMTALK website, which contained resources for the adaptation of the system to Hebrew and Arabic. She has published numerous papers on the topic and presented my research in various international venues. She is an active member of a research group on the acquisition of morphology led by Prof. Wolfgang Dressler from the University of Vienna and the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Prof. Rachel Yifat Ph.D, is a senior lecturer in the Department of Speech-Language and Communication Disorders in Haifa University, Israel. She serves as a consultant in several studies in the field of language development and developmental language-communication disorders, in the Departments of Communication Disorders and of Education. Her recent publication is about perceptual context and individual difference in the language proficiency of preschool children, published in Journal of Experimental Child Psychology 142 118-136. 2016. She participates in different research projects -Anchoring, language and literacy in the preschool years for Israeli Science Foundation is among them. In 2014-2017 she was head of department of communication science and disorders at University of Haifa.
